STUDIO ETIQUETTE & HONOURING OTHERS
Thank you for honouring each other’s time and space with etiquette.
What to bring: YOGA MAT, WATER, INDOOR WORKOUT SHOES, TOWEL (depending on class )
Note: It is best to drink plenty of water throughout the day & to practice on an empty stomach. (yoga, pilates)
What to wear: loose comfortable clothing. Minimal or no jewelry. Dry fit, tanks, shorts, etc for cardio classes
Note: We practice yoga and pilates in bare feet. (also Pound can be done bare foot), Running shoes or spin shoes for spin, running shoes for zumba or pound
1. PLEASE BE PUNCTUAL– Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Be set up and on your Mat, ready to start at the designated time.
2. REMOVE SHOES– Please remove your shoes BEFORE you enter the yoga room. Leave
Shoes inside by the door. This helps to keep the floors clean which is important to everyone as
We are on our mats, on the floor.
3. TURN OFF ALL ELECTRONICS – Turn phones off. This time is just for you.
This is a consideration for you as well as your fellow members. Even a phone vibration
Can disturb the class.
4. SCENT FREE ZONE – NO PERFUME or COLOGNE – Many people have
Allergies and sensitivity to fragrances. Please be considerate of others and do not wear perfume,
Cologne or heavily scents products.
5. DO NOT WALK ON ANY MAT BUT YOUR OWN – For sanitary reasons,
Please keep your feet on your own mat and walk around other mats. Your yoga mat is
Considered your sacred space where you get in touch with yourself during your practice. Be
Respectful of others space/mat.
6. It is IMPORTANT to stay for the entire practice however, sometimes life happens, so if you
Must leave early, please do so quietly
7. We understand you wanting to come in and take a spin, zumba or pound class with your friends (we really do),
We do NOT appreciate anyone gabbing through the first song or any song for that matter…
And neither does anyone else. I assure you.
It makes it hard for members to hear the instructors drills, commands, counts, etc…
Encourage each other, make a comment, but full conversations not cool…
When coming to your first class please arrive 15 minutes early for set up, waivers and newbie information
If you have to cancel your spot MINIMUM 4 hours noticed is needed in order to avoid being charged…
Due to the popularity of our evening classes NOON is the cut off for canceling your spot in a class otherwise we have to enforce our cancelation fee…we often have a wait list of people wanting a spot in a class and need time to inform them if a spot does become available…
Due to the popularity of the holiday classes 24 hour cancellation policy is in effect! Thanks !!
